Sasha Burshteyn is a poet.
Bio:
Sasha Burshteyn was born in Russia and raised in Brooklyn and Donbas. Her poetry has appeared in The Baffler, The Yale Review, The Paris Review Daily, The Kenyon Review, and elsewhere. She holds degrees from Amherst College and New York University, where she was a Goldwater Fellow. Her work has received support from the Hawthornden, Saltonstall, Tables of Contents, National Geographic, and the Watson Foundation. A 2026 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Poetry, she is the translations editor at Four Way Review, and a Visiting Scholar at the Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia at NYU.
